Nominate an Outstanding Volunteer

Recognize individuals and teams whose volunteer efforts have made a significant impact in Loudoun County during 2024.

We are looking for passionate team members to serve Loudoun County.

Nomination Procedure:

  1. Complete the Nomination Form
  2. Submit a Professional Headshot of the nominee/team.
  3. Deadline for submission: February 28, 2025

Eligibility

  • Individuals or teams who volunteered in Loudoun County in 2024 (must serve within the county but don’t need to reside here).
  • Nominations cannot be self-nominations.

  • Volunteer Team
  • Judy Hines Service of a Lifetime Award (For volunteers with 10+ years of service in Loudoun County)

Award Categories

  • Adult (19-60): Public Safety, Volunteer, Volunteer Team
  • Senior (60+): Public Safety, Volunteer, Volunteer Team
  • Youth (Under 18): Public Safety, Volunteer, Volunteer Team
  • Specialty: Community Organization, Corporate Volunteer, Project Leader, Veteran Volunteer, Nonprofit Board, and more.

Important Notes:

  • A nominee can only be considered for one category.
  • A team can be nominated for a Team Award while an individual team member can be nominated for an Individual Award.
  • At least two applications are required to proceed with a category.
  • Nominations must be for nonprofit service within Loudoun County.
  • Impact refers to the positive change in individuals or organizations due to the nominee’s efforts.
  • Evidence can include third-party testimonials, facts demonstrating change (e.g., increased meals served), or organizational measurements (e.g., reduced expenses).
